all counties are supposed to list on the canvass all persons who get 5+ write-ins, see Chapel Hill in image. Not sure if counties other than Wake compend everything

of 12 Wake Co early voting sites for Mar 3, 2026 primary 5 are in Raleigh city limits and 1 each in 7 suburban towns. Raleigh has a non-partisan municipal primary March 3, any county voter can vote at any of the 12 sites. The Wake Forest site is closest for 5 Raleigh precincts

There are about 75 NC municipalities holding their elections in Nov 2026 (rather than odd years). 5 have filing starting Dec 1, 2025: Asheville, Mt Airy, Raleigh, Lincolnton and Winston-Salem — first 3 have nonpartisan primaries Mar 3, latter two partisan primaries March 3. Other 70 are plurality
