The best thing to do about this is to reduce our dependence until we can say to the big fossil firms: "no thank you, we do not want or need what you are selling", and walk (or cycle, take an electric bus or drive an electric car) away.

Reactivate the network clear power plants!
Replacing one dependency with another is not a sustainable approach to energy in Europe.
The only way out of this is to move full speed ahead on electrification, energy efficiency and renewable energy.
