History and reading/writing teacher @CUNY. As a student once wrote of me in an evaluation, “CAN BE FUNNY AT TIMES." I believe that we will win.
What’s the last NBA dynasty to be as not fun as this OKC team? Most of the teams I can think of that could claim dynasty or near dynasty status were more interesting than OKC’s squad (who are without question incredibly good).

I would say no, based solely on my own experience. That’s just not a significant concern of mine with my recent undergrad students.

Truly a Rorschach test prompt here.

(And to be clear, I am asking because there is absolutely no way that Trump wrote this based on the style.)

Asking anyone--who wrote this? (I have not at all been keeping up with who writes his posts this administration.)

But we follow each other because by law every possible iteration of Geoff/Jeff Johnson/Johnston has to follow one another on social media and back one another in online battles. It can get intense, but I'm going to go easy for now.

I just want you to know that that wasn't me.

That's definitely a valid argument and quite possibly will prove to be correct. I guess the counterargument would be: 1) They need to be able to play well against good teams so how about starting now with the best team (win or lose); 2) Why not be bold--aim for an upset and a potential NBA Cup spot.

I'll feel much better about where the team is at if they turn in a really solid effort against OKC tonight (winning would be better, of course, but I'll take "really solid effort" at this point).

This actually makes me happy, and I'm glad it was Mike who called it. I feel like, throughout the Chris Finch years, there have been multiple times where things are not going well and it's the players who get together and figure some things out--seems in keeping with Finch's coaching philosophy.

I think the majority of us try this activity with one or more romantic partners and then end up being like “yeah I’m not doing this anymore. Too many logistical difficulties to make it worth my time.”

I’d recommend going into this situation knowing that they are probably going to outsmart you. I don’t wish any ill upon raccoons, but I think it’s important that humans view them as an adversarial species whom we likely could not defeat if it came to that. Best to keep the peace.
