Taken from my balcony (it's not fair I know) during the nightly migration of crows from West Vancouver, East, to Burnaby. A fun and daily event to enjoy at sunset.

Frosting (2024)

I took today off, so I've been re-exploring the #JuanDeFuca trail over on #vancouverisland

Wish everyday could be like this.

An adult and adolescent zebra run across a field. The slow shutter of the camera causes the panning motion to blur creating stripes of black and white from left to right across the image, and the motion of the zebras becomes blurred as they shift throughout the exposure, leaving trails of their movement captured in the image.

An image taken the amazing k8 aurora event in May 2024. The sky is lit with vertical beams if green and pinks and deep purples, with a prominent pink stripe on the left. A meadow in the foreground glows green, and the still creek reflects the vibrant greens. The horizon is a series of mountains in the distance, the shapes and haze between the subtly give away their shapes.
