While I'm on the subject, I'm also kinda thinking about remaking the original genre guide. The Breakcore section is definitely the main problem with that video, though I also could've done a bit better with the sections on Breakbeat Hardcore and Jungle tbh.

For now I'm just gonna do it on the vids for Darkcore & Darkside and Breakbeat Hardcore. If it seems to help boost interest in those vids I'll do it for the rest of the series

Tried to render is again and got the same result. Seems to mainly be affecting parts with the dred bass, which is where to song is getting slammed into the limiter the hardest, so I'm thinking there's some sort of audio clipping issue going on.

Seems like the audio got slightly corrupted in the process of trimming off the silence and the beginning & end of the video clip

Breakcore's for anyone who isn't a nazi/fascist/bigot/etc., so just start smashing breaks and keepin' it hardcore

Might have already said this at some point, but I fuckin love the Sniper Break. Kinda wish it was more widely known/used nowadays, though I also kinda prefer it being a more niche break just so it hits harder when you do hear it.

He did a collab with Cynthoni (Sewerslvt) on his latest album. It's in the second half of this song, though of course Cynthoni's section is just their typical DnB + Acid Trance style rather than Breakcore.

People think it's Breakcore just 'cause, starting about ~5 years ago, a lot of terminally online zoomers got it in their heads that anything that uses the Amen Break is automatically Breakcore.

It's not Breakcore (mostly). It's more Rock/Metal that happens to use the Amen Break for the drum, and Heaven Pierce Her's bandcamp page basically says as much.
