The demonstration and rhetoric were extremely violent. And were conducted in front of a place of worship. I would expect of a mayor-elect to be much more harsh regarding the rhetoric and the location. You can be anti-Israel but still condemn violence towards Jews.

I was pro-Mamdani because he’s not a criminal and/or corrupt. Israel is not relevant to a mayor’s work. But safety of minorities in his city, is. According to what I read, this event wasn’t about immigration to the West Bank, but immigration to Israel.

So they can protest in front of a place of worship, just not use this language?
