that the two leads for the new Wuthering Heights movie (terrible casting btw) immediately shot a Chanel ad together? A clear scheme to manipulate the masses into believing that luxury=passion. Hellfire to Hollywood and all their pathetic, plastic schemes. I hate movies

I have very little love for music. It has been ages since I’ve felt any joy from playing it, and I’ve accepted that I may never feel it again. But I continue to practice diligently every day because I recognize it as a powerful tool for shepherding the masses. A skill that may be useful one day

Honestly we should just abolish music. The whole thing is just a failed experiment. Too many people with souls the size of insects controlling the industry. Especially indie dudes. Bunch of bland, spineless wanks who just found a hobby they happen to be okay at. So much lifeless garbage out there

People who think the Vampire Weekend is overrated just don’t realize how hard it is to play super high guitar notes over a bunch of basic major chords. All while going “wooo woo!” over and over like a good bunch of parrots. Truly great coffee shop music for the ages

I stand firm on my belief that Fury (2014) is the best war movie of all time. Whoever disagrees is probably just some nerd who thinks that shit like Jarhead (2005) is a “subversive masterpiece”. Go watch Full Metal Jacket (1987) for the 15th time you freakin dork ;)

Why does our team consistently choke? It’s because our city (as a whole) lacks what it takes to dance in the fire. We don’t have the spark, the passion, the animal instinct. No amount of practice, planning, and discipline can make up for shortcomings of the soul

I also have very low opinions of Alejandro Jodorowsky. One Aquarian to another, I can tell the dude is BSing. Edgy shock-bait disguised as pretentious artsy surrealism (not sure which is worse). Having a lot of colours in your movie doesn’t make you a visionary!

It is no good to see life as a series of trades. Energy for work, rest for energy, exercise for health, studying for knowledge, etc. Because this way we will always be burdened by illusions of limitations. When we detach each activity from the end result, we can achieve boundlessness
