Michael Bishop is probably best known for No Enemy But Time and Brittle Innings, but I picked up a copy of his book called Count Geiger's Blues at a library book sale many years ago and it is a really entertaining take on becoming a 'superhero'

3 of 4. I saw the Andy Hardy movie not long ago on #TCM It's been a long time since I saw They Were Expendable, but I watched PT 109 last year around this time. PT 109 is one of those movies I saw with my parents at a drive-in theater when I was just a child. No Nuremberg.

I'm jealous! I imagine it was really great to see it the way it was meant to be seen....on the big screen in a movie theater.

I've watched Hetty. Dominic Monaghan was in that show with her.....and I do remember her in 'To Sir, With Love'....such a great movie.

I do love that show! The Bucket woman trying to keep her neighbors from discovering Onslow is her brother-in-law provides for endless hilarity.

I was watching on my phone, so the comments scroll right under the video. I like Russell Crowe. I know the movie is based on a book. I'll probably watch it when it's streaming....although I'm guessing it's no Judgment at Nuremberg.
