obviously america is a big place and every state is different i assume but it just makes me so mad like the attitude of gatekeeping food banks is insane to me i literally saw someone say bc a woman has dyed hair and a piercing she doesn't need a food bank as much as other people would

> absolute surplus of food that nobody can afford and goes to landfill
> food that is going to be wasted by stores is given to food banks
> people are mad about people going to food banks and receiving food that would be going to landfill because they aren't 'in need enough'
