Huh, I know exactly where you are! It's weird because a lot of the painting has been completely redone, but you can see the sleeve of the red robed man is the same.

the good thing is the exposure times on these usually rule out the asteroid version of transients and you can be pretty sure it's a distant supernova, usually already in the process of fading.

i was cat sitting my neighbor’s cats a while ago and one day a mixing bowl appeared on the floor way out of the kitchen and that was weird but then the next day i checked on them again and there was pee in the bowl. true story

just me and my 4 year old… drinking it straight, cereal, oatmeal, etc. it also somehow lasts a couple of weeks tho even if i don’t get through it particularly fast. hmm i should buy a pudding pack soon. that’s a good way to use up half a liter right there. 😆

I patched a hammock with a similar problem... it's really hard to hold it still, but you know if you could just reform it, it'd be easy to sew it back together? Get like a whole bunch of push pins and some foam and hold it in place, and then it might be something you can restructure/almost disappear

side story: when i was a kid somehow i got to go to the oklahoma city science museum at night and they had a huge, tent-like whale that inflated and they let us walk into it for too short a time, as i never wanted to leave it. i wanted to live inside that whale. maybe i still do
