understandable but also v. poignant that Clarke is incapable of foreseeing how deftly neoliberalism was about jujitsu flip this kind of attack on the British class system too

(but then we're talking about a pundit class that, despite all the evidence that MAGA's invocations of free speech were always rankly opportunistic, remain so wedded to liberal ideals of Robust Public Debate that they'll canonise a Kirk, so they're not that hard to bamboozle ig)
