It looks even worse when you see how far off trend it is versus the typical trend for the non-seasonally adjusted data compared to the last two years. There was already some indication that we were moving in this direction, but this looks like more of a confirmation.

Yup, you only need look at it by industry, and along with the moving average (to get past the volatility) and of course, adjust for Boeing strike and NC floods. Pretty clear down shift, question is whether we are settling in at 135k avg or readying for the next downdraft. Look at LT UE --> latter
