GIDS was doing that, as the Cass Report showed, but it still got shut down and puberty blockers banned because Cass started from the premise that the process/treatment should result in detransition and the absence of that outcome was proof of failure.

The fundamental split is (or was) about structure, between those who just want a more grassroots-led version of Labour (grouped under Corbyn) and those who want a looser network of local/regional parties without any centralised power to overule (who alighted on Sultana as a counterweight to Corbyn).

Not sure how likely that last part is. Whilst she was on bail, Connolly sent a series of WhatsApp messages that seemingly sunk her chances of defence (eg saying she would "play the mental health card"). I suspect that's why she was advised and decided to plead guilty.
