I told my partner that Rozalski is one of my favorite artists early in our relationship, and so he went a bit overboard and bought seven of his prints. They still hang allll over our bedroom walls 😅

Second appointment was a 90+ yr old man whose life history I’m cataloging. As I flipped through a folder of his stock market notes, he told me his current net worth is six million dollars and then sort of laughed to say that should get him through the rest of his life. The stark contrast, y’all.

Digital content is certainly going to keep growing, especially as the technology to digitize becomes more accessible. But there are many people who don’t have the means to access it, & rely on physical materials. My library system covers a lot of rural area so I see firsthand how vital that is.
