Are you sick of the full Steam UI opening whenever you launch a game or app via a shortcut? Just add "-silent" to the (default) registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\steam\Shell\Open\Command and now Steam will now open minimized to task tray when launching game via shortcut! #TechTip

Want to run an elevated app under Windows 11 without the pesky UAC prompt every time? Create a scheduled task with "Run with highest privileges" & add action pointing to your .exe without any trigger & simply run -or- shortcut schtasks.exe /run /tn "". Better than disabling UAC! #TechTips
