Of all the people to loathe, I can't say that Ezra Klein would ever be on my list. His Charlie Kirk line will follow him to his grave I expect, but he's playing on the right team I think.

SCOTUS has made it extremely difficult to charge a politician with bribery. This is why Homan, Vance et. al keep deflecting and saying he didn't commit a crime. You can bet your life, however, that he accepted $50k in a paper bag. The crime would be not declaring that as income.

Amy, just spitballing here, but couldn't you at least give the rationale for your temporary decision. I mean, let people know it's temporary, but at the same time explain on what bases you are over ruling a lower court decision. Whaddya think? Can do?

I think at this point Trump is just going to grab as much as he can before he's thrown out of office. If it's a choice between Laura Loomer and his personal enrichment he's not gonna think twice.

Totally agree Josh. Having a corrupted Supreme Court has made all of this ten times worse. Though those reforms would probably take a few years to implement, it is absolutely fundamental to repairing our democracy. Increase the number of judges and enforce term limits is an elegant, proven solution.
