yeah in the book, Kip is like twunk muscly at best. The fact that their bodies look very similar gets rid of Kip feeling like he's not good enough for Scott (at least on the physical level)

I will say that in the books Kip is more financially strapped and doesn't even consider applying to grad school until way later. a bit more personality than the episode, but doesn't help that it was condensed and more focused on Scott

I just don't get it... like I understand on the physical box so a Switch 1 player buys the right copy. but its so ugly and takes me out of typically very atmospheric Metroid title screens

so far, theres only been minor changes! and they added in the first book scenes of Kip and Scott (shortened of course) where theyre more mentioned in the 2nd book

the reviews definitely gave off a divisive vibe, but I definitely feel like nowadays people are way more critical than they were with games in the past. Can't wait til I get my copy for Christmas
