and then calling the best friend to share the news feels like it could be about the continuity of that friendship in real life through any newer experiences you may be having. so it’s like old and new support systems coming together, but also old and new parts of you coming together! 💞

in reality, max’s body is in the hospital in a coma. but her consciousness is trapped in Vecna aka Henry’s mind/memories and the only thing keeping her safe is a cave that he is too scared to go into (probably because of a traumatic memory)

this is where she meets Holly who is also trapped
