Plenty of time to figure it out.

For now, let's enjoy the time we know we've got together, and whatever happens after that happens.

It would be nice to get Silksong done before that point, but if we have to stretch into 2026 then we will.

On that point, I think I'm going to transition a bit into a cosier streamer next year. I have a backlog, I'd play them anyway, so why not let others watch while I do?

We'll see though.

That neither looks practical nor comfortable. What the actual?

49. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (PS4)

Man, this one has taken me YEARS to finish (I started it 5 years ago). It just didn't grab me the same way the first two games did, but I've done the base game now. Quick run-through of the DLC and then I'll move onto the third game.

That sounds cool, I miss a good arcade racer.

I love Kirby and, admittedly, haven't played the GameCube original so this one didn't really feel like the sort of thing I'd go for, but now after seeing reviews I'm quite tempted.

Weird that Nintendo have put out two mascot racers within the first 6 months of the Switch 2s life, though.

I still think I prefer Silksong, but the first game isn't going to be a terrible one to just pick up every now and then, and if it ever leaves Game Pass before I get all three endings I don't think I'll lose too much sleep over it.

What I DID do was jump back on Hollow Knight to see if I could get a bit more done on it. Best the Traitor Lord and the Collector, and then spent some time getting the rest of the grubs.

Oh, I best Nosk as well. He was fun.

I think we should call it animeese, in honour of the plural of goose being geese (and moose should be meese and not moose).

The Xbox made me realise that there was more to "modern" gaming than PlayStation, but the 360 was THE console for me, and since then I've always seemed to be "Xbox first, everything else second" as far as console gaming goes, though for how much longer I couldn't say.

Ended up getting one of those about a week later. Launch games were Kameo, PGR3 and Perfect Dark Zero, with NFS Most Wanted & King Kong following at launch. Hexic HD with the HDD songs playing was another timesink.

48. PowerWash Simulator 2 (Xbox Series X) - 1000G

Yep, this was good. Bigger levels to account for co-op (though I did it solo), and just a lovely cozy experience.

Might skip the DLC though like I did for the first game and wait for the inevitable third one. Ding!

Little bit of Saw overtones as well, as you to keep gambling to stay alive, and ultimately it doesn't work out in your favour.

I'm sure there's an endgame somewhere, but not so soon in.

I had one of these!

We really did have the best toys. Nowadays they're all huge but made out of the cheapest plastic. Price is still the same, though.

I did that before when somebody insisted I'd had a car accident.

Managed to keep them on the phone for a good 10 minutes before they clocked I don't drive.
