The historian, not the judge. #LFGM #LFC NYM-G-K-I. edit Law & History Review. my opinions. he/him/his. Book projects on (1) slavery + laws; (2) The West Wing.
On that note, one of my favorite salads these days: smoked trout, smoked salt vinaigrette, cherry peppers, eggs with chili sauce-tahini. Add crispy eggplant sometimes.

Yesterday this cat, Stevie G, bolted outside and saw a black squirrel on the patio. Stevie took two steps toward it but the squirrel ran away. Stevie then decided to lie down for a belly rub.

Suffice to say even Stevie G. the spoiled calico cat fought harder than @durbin.senate.gov.

Took about 20 years. And I never thought a book about enslavers using deputization to give themselves policing power would be relevant to our times. But we are where we are.

My book, White Power: Policing American Slavery, is now available for preorder.
