I'm not the sort of person to get up in arms about commissions being late or delayed, especially when people are working multiple jobs!!! But man, it does really suck when you watch someone you comm'd almost a year ago take more and more slots, all for "immediate completion" lol

I think Welcome to Derry has some really fun ideas but it’s hamstrung at nearly every possible turn by absolutely terrible acting (from the kids specifically, who are all cute don’t get me wrong but MAN ALIVE they can’t carry a scene), horrible pacing, an every scare overstaying its welcome

I've had Frankenstein on again as I work today and I really like the re-frame of Victor's slow disillusionment with the creature rather than immediately running from it as he starts to realize the creature isn't his mother or his father and can't give him the absolution he wanted

It really is crazy to me that so much of the conversation around Frankenstein is now being dominated by people who claim that the novel has never been adapted by women or told in a way that centers female characters which is like, so deeply and insanely untrue on all counts lol
