While I don't have the time tonight to get a game in, I cannot WAIT to get going on this.

This is a level of quality that is several tiers above the already improved quality I've seen from CGL. I want this to be the standard going forward. Absolutely incredible

Speaking of which, it finally broke down the campaign rules in a manner my normie brain could understand. I have a scenario that I built, Night of the Stomping Urbies, that I want to turn into a campaign. I fully plan on using Aces to build this out

Speaking of which, did I mention how many scenarios there are in this campaign? TWENTY-ONE. There are 21 custom-designed scenarios, each with their own objectives, opfor, special rules, etc. I only expected to get like, 5 or 6. I didn't expect tabletop Mech Commander

Another major bonus is the fact that they have a fundamental tutorial on how to play. A completely simulated encounter with step-by-step instructions of what to do AND WHY dramatically help with understanding...AND it has illustrations of what the movement looks like

I think my favorite part is the inclusion of lots of icons to denote concepts. I was originally hesitant about this, but not only are they fairly well-explained, but the quick reference on the back of the rule book makes it super easy to look up

Candidly, I always found BattleTech rulebooks dense and difficult to understand, with organization being a major challenge. Here, everything is logically grouped and well-explained. If something is in a different section, that section usually came first and that concept is briefly re-explained

We need another one of these so badly

I'm curious what your process is for picking mechs. Even with 3025 limiting the volume quite a bit, there are still absolute gobs of mechs to pick from

Awesome, 100%. Its name is apt, it's surprisingly durable, and has a bunch of different configurations over its lifetime. It's simple, survivable, and upgradable. In short, an excellent mech

My kids have declared Homestar Runner and Strong Bad as peak

If you're not careful, CGL may do a chibi line of mechs 😆

These designs are just incredible

Claymore, Longshot, Meat, and Steel were always my core 4

Mech3's briefings were probably amongst the best in the series
