If labour really wanted to stop RFUK they would boost incomes at the bottom where the discontent is festering after years of trickle down economics which failed to trickle down. Freezing tax thresholds is really regressive in that respect.

Lifting the cap may actually help pay for itself by introducing a stimulus into the economy increased spending & tax receipts as well as being the right thing to do.

Abolishing the 2 child cap great to lift kids out of poverty but its also a £3bn fiscal stimulus where its needed in lower incomes increasing spending power.Freezing tax thresholds has the opposite effect squeezing lower and middle incomes means less spending power & inhibits growth in the economy.

Not forgetting the #HostileEnvoironment was initiated by the Conservatives but Labour have been in power now for 18 months and it appears the hostile environment in the Home office is unchanged.A displaced child after a hurricane with a settled working family here this should be a no brain decision
