Just a guy from the Seattle area who loves music (Madonna, NIN, David Bowie, among many others), vinyl collecting, and video games. Final Fantasy is my favorite series. 🏳️‍🌈
Been a fan since the very first game on NES, and XIII is absolutely my favorite in the franchise!

It was 4.5 hours well spent! I loved it.

I never noticed this until I saw it today, lol!

Kill Bill is the result of several brainstorming sessions that he and Uma Thurman had during the filming of Pulp Fiction. It wasn't solely his project.

He's not a "sidekick." He tags along for a VERY brief time, and then you're on your own.

We've all been there.

That fanbase is insufferable. It is damn near constant whining and bitching.

People are so rabid about Spotify Wrapped. Like jeez...it'll come out when it comes out!

Most disappointing albums of 2025:

Garbage - Let All That We Imagine Be The Light
The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
FKA Twigs - EUSEXUA Afterglow (really went from high to low this year, lol)

#1. FKA Twigs - EUSEXUA (the original version)

Addison Rae's album reminded me of Ray of Light, but Eusexua does so even more. It's electronic, it's trancey, it's an entire vibe. There's an updated version with different songs, and while it's good, it's not as transcendent as the original version.

#2. Lady Gaga - MAYHEM

I admit this one had to grow on me, but man once it did I was 100% here for it. Honestly, this may be her best album! I especially love how it moves through its various sounds, starting with an almost industrial vibe, going through modern disco, and ending with ballads.

#3. Nine Inch Nails - Tron: Ares

While no, this isn't your typical NIN studio album, it's still a remarkable body of work. The four songs with Trent's vocals are some of the best work they've ever done, and the soundtrack songs are solid. For a film score, this one keeps me engaged and mesmerized.

#4. LSR/CITY - Cyberpunk

Gareth Emery is a genius with his progressive house sound, and on this album it's a journey with a concept and storyline. The melodies are euphoric, and the peaks and valleys here really drive that concept home.

#5. Mariah Carey - Here For It All

A glorious return to form! One of her tightest and most coherent albums. The title track is beautiful throughout the main portion of it, but right when you think it's over, it really begins to soar!

#6. Tame Impala - Deadbeat

I have to admit, upon first listen I was confused as it's pretty different from what came before. But now it clicked and it's amazing to me! It may not reach the highs of Currents or The Slow Rush, but it feels every bit as significant.

#7. Nightly - The Void

This rock/pop group is so fun. One of the best live shows I've seen this year, too! This album is a little Halloween-themed (it came out around that time), but it's also some of their strongest material!

#8. Addison Rae - Addison

Honestly never heard of her before this album, but the breezy, airy vibe is perfect. Reminds me of Madonna's Ray of Light at times (especially the track "Times Like These").

#9. Above & Beyond - Bigger Than All of Us

Quality trance music and a fantastic return for this group. The fourth track, "Everywhere I Go", is just pure bliss! The vocalists throughout the album are all great, and I go back to this album often.
