I pass this on my way to work everyday and scratch my head. We’ll preserve a five story concrete monolith but veto upzoning to allow shorter, prettier buildings that people can live in. Both can exist, but only the former is madness

Something, something, Bay Bridge bikeway when?

You should if only because the resulting B-roll would always be potentially useful in any other video. It has everything from reversible lanes and pedestrian beacons, to pre-freeway highway ramps and a host of users trying to make do. I’m sure its own story is also potentially compelling

I suppose Franklin Mall is technically a pedestrianized street, but it’s a bit far to walk to from the train station. And the walk requires crossing Lafayette (yikes) and walking along what feels like an acre of parking for the courthouse and shopping center.

Maybe every Silicon Valley city except Santa Clara which has a Caltrain station conveniently located by its university and where its charming downtown used to be before it was redeveloped into a now an underutilized shopping center.

Also do not like these racks, don’t think “lawyer lips” (lol) would make a difference here but are you saying the lack of the prongs reflects on the overall quality of the bike?
