Today in 1973 Bruce Springsteen released his debut album Greetings From Asbury Park N.J. Track 1, side 1 was Blinded By the Light. The song eventually made it to #1 thanks to Manfred Mann's Earth Band. It remains the only #1 Bruce has ever written.
