There are a few limitations and issues, but I'm sure I can fix them, or at least improve them. At the moment sliding particles don't take collision into account, but that shouldn't be too hard to fix. Particles also aren't affected by the speed of meshes they interact with.

But I do my best not to give in to it. Its hard, but I try.

The hardest part, to me, is trying to avoid shutting everyone out. Total isolation. There's a very strong part of me that tells me I should do just that. Isolate myself, away from everyone, so that I can quietly disappear forever. Nobody around to stop me, nobody around to care.

I'll also see if I can implement some sort of opposing force. My goal for this system is something that can be calculated quickly and be visually convincing enough that I could avoid using fluid sims in applicable situations.

That's why I'm not really active online anymore. To me, it just isn't worth it to put myself out there. I've struggled with depression for almost as long as I can remember. Social media, for the most part, has done very little besides exacerbating those struggles.

from my perspective, the world is an awful place, mostly full of awful people. I'd rather just hold on to the few I know are kind than wade through a sea of abuse in hopes of finding more kindness. I don't want to be part of such a hateful society, I'd rather shut myself away.

I think we need something like Mastodon, but for chatrooms. It wouldn't be as easy as setting up a Discord server and would require those who want to host communities to pay for hosting themselves, which would be the biggest hurdle towards adoption.
