I’m not gonna hold your hand while I say this: stop listening to game devs/writers who want to recon, rewrite or “expand” on a character/world outside of the released work. It’s a bad way to engage w/ fandom that often does far more harm than good. Esp when they have a history of problematic writing

Why tf do Templars in Dragon Age need humanizing ANYWAY?? The worst decision DA lore made was veering away from criticizing structures of oppression and trying to “both sides” things and over explain intricacies of lore and in universe mythology. The lack of thematic cohesion is frustrating 😭
