(4/x) simply because I ran into "Shit that's slowing me down" about stuff that I didn't even consider as liable to *be* a problem.

Course, given my pc, if I'm wondering how the engine level costs of inheritance are performing, I'm long beyond useful game dev and into bored crafting.

(3/x) add in stupidly modular gear, and suddenly your character's gotta check through gear for oxygen and shit, stuff that needs hefty caching for sure, on top of many what I believe is an np problem every round.

While I've largely shuttered it, it left me a deep seated appreciation of optimizing

(2/...x?) to be clear, I'm sure the answer is somewhere between zero(except maybr at build time) and negligible, but if your going into a project and realizing upfront its likely going to be an nightmare of optimization...(game in question is functionally a traveling salesman problem.)

Oh? I haven't been keeping up to date, but this would massively simplify a game I had larhely put on ice for now.

With how much I do similar data structures, I have wondered idly if there is a performance cost and how much to inhereting a base creature, overwriting methods, etc. (1/2)

I'm not claiming this games queer, just that I am.

Its a free little puzzle game, android, linux, and windows, with a simple premise.

Put out the fires in a turn based way. Nothing too fancy, but the art is drawn by me, and code by me.
Update 0.0.2!
Simple update! Add some QOL, such as the length of hoses being displayed on the hydrant, and the remaining length on the nozzle. We got some bug fixes such as doubling of next round when enter key is....
