In the past I was just using dualingo but I kept reading why it's kinda useless on its own but I didn't fully get it cause I was looking at it through the context of how I thought I learned English instead of thinking back on doing all that busy work you do in preschool as a toddler

Dualingo focuses on teaching words over the characters (at the start, so maybe it goes over hiragana and etc. later) It's like teaching someone to say "water please" while they don't know the English alphabet. It's so goofy lmao. Also there is like a ridiculous limit to how much you can do a day

It turns certain letters and sounds to J,G,Z, and D. So if you know the original character already, you can guess which one and then eventually learn. The one in the image is "Ko" and with the symbol it's "Go" The problem is that there are so many exceptions. 3 characters are Zu??? Lmao watchout man
