We now have two months of impact of the IFPA's decision... from 11/20 to 1/19, the YOY is (-13.9%) worldwide. In the US, it's (-14.8%), but even internationally, that loss is (-10.6%).

The IFPA's stat brag is a prime example of stat manipulation. Let's do some year-over-year from '24 to '25 for a few months, shall we?

This year in pinball was pretty fun. I didn't win any tournaments, but I had a good time regardless. It was great to see many of my pinball buddies win some pretty prestigious tournaments.

It also was marked a point of reflection for competitive pinball as a whole. 1/

If the IFPA wants to make a powerful statement, they should give this tournament a 0% TGP rating. Not only did the TD fail in addressing the incident, but most everyone else continued playing as if nothing happened. Therefore, all should be punished.

So I watched the first John Wick movie tonight. It was fun, but with a lack of a real plot, it definitely could have been better. I think it was lower than the 86% given on RT. The later John Wicks are apparently better though, so we'll see!
