I'm almost halfway into the first book after the trilogy but the time skip into the 80s is so noticeable in this. I don't think smoking has been mentioned at all so far.

Every time a 30-something-old shows up, the books are like "look, a baby. a newborn. he's gotten almost to the top of the corporate ladder despite being an infant himself." and I find that wonderful.

Personally, if I was First Speaker at the Second Foundation, I would have revoked Stor Gendibal's Speakership just because he was surprised that a bra lifted a person's breasts.
