There was an extent to which this was due to who the vendors had been communicating with. We divvied up the task of reaching out to vendors, so she handled celebrant, styling, etc. and I handled music, some decor, etc. But even so, it was more prevalent than I’d have assumed/liked.

Like, it was my wedding too, but so many vendors seemed to just presume that it was *her* day and I was kinda there as well, I guess. Suffice to say, we generally chose vendors who didn’t do that sort of thing.
