Right? Like... let's make the interface markedly worse AND remove a feature that's super convenient that literally EVERY platform has, forcing people to rely on the search function we still haven't fixed.

Yes, I firmly believe use of GenAI should be disclosed.
But I adamantly REFUSE to pay someone to declare that I'm not using it. The fact that the Society of Authors is even floating that idea doesn't instill much confidence that this is a good faith attempt to fix a problem. /end
