the taiwan railway logo is so cool. it's the combination of 台 (台灣 = taiwan) and 工 (work), which also resembles the cross section of a railroad track. and it also resembles the traditional style seen in the circular version of "寿" (longevity), shown here on a 土地公 (guardian deity of a place)
