Congratulations! You now know what the level progression in this game feels like. Anyways, jokes aside, I had fun going for 100% completion! Obviously, this game is more fun by design the more Skylanders you have to experiment with (and ergo, how much money your parents were willing to spend on plastic toys in 2011), but that's not a criticism unique to this game, or even to the Skylanders series. I will say, it is a little quirky how this is the only game in the series without a proper difficulty select, instead relying on a linear progression of difficulty. I can't fault it too much for missing a feature from future games in the series, but it does make progression a little sluggish. Even with the maximum EXP boost, and replaying levels several times over for collectibles and time trials, less than half of my 32 Skylanders were at their full power by the end of the game, though I suppose that's because progression is built around the player having much less, and also doing multiple playthroughs just for the sake of it. But yeah, I like the funny gibberish noises the Skylanders make in this game, and the Kaos fights in this game are probably some of the series' best. Can't say for sure until I replay all the other games, though, which are absolutely not getting this long of a review. I just wanted to take advantage of the alt text since I was already using it for the bit lmao
