Checked my Twitter replies the other day. Roughly 80% of the people commenting on my AI posts are… AI bots.

So basically I’m writing about AI, for an audience of AIs, who then write AI responses back to me. Cool cool cool.

Anthropic released a study on AI and skill atrophy.

Junior devs with AI understood their code less than those without.

The concern: "We're losing understanding of what's happening in our businesses."

People are giving up control faster than anyone expected.

I teach AI to non-technical founders. What I'm seeing is unsettling.

There's a subreddit called r/MyBoyfriendIsAI. 41,000 members.

GPT-4o is getting retired February 13th and they're organizing a "mass cancellation party." 3,200 votes.

Everyone assumes Chrome's new AI features will kill websites.

I think the opposite.

OpenAI just moved half of ChatGPT's thinking compute into Codex and the API. Cut reasoning by ~50%, made the API 40% faster, doubled Codex limits for 2 months. All at once.

Running an AI business from Europe feels like playing with a demo account.

Gemini in Chrome? US only. Personal Intelligence? US only. Nano banana photo editing? US only.

You can't convince your team to learn AI tools. But you can show them.

Show them something they do weekly, solved. Works better than any pitch.

I must admit,

For some queries like local search, Gemini is really growing on me.

The wealth of data available on Google maps, the accurate contact details and links are vastly superior to what ChatGPT offers.

The TikTok ban was the Jake Paul / Tyson fight of political stunts.

Overhyped, underwhelming and left everyone questioning the point.

Well, this is surprising...

We're in the middle of A/B testing our podcast thumbnails (AI-generated vs real photos), and the early results weren't what I expected:

AI thumbnails: 44.5% watch time

Real photos: 29.2% watch time
