I think 3 more seasons with an OPS over .830 gets him in as a normal candidate, his argument is similar to Giancarlo Stanton’s. That said I think his path is much tougher since he’s got the 2017 scandal to overcome, I think 5 good seasons gets him in.

I think if you look at the move as converting him from 3/60M to 1/22M on a qualifying offer it makes a lot more sense, he did not have a good season this year and his underlying stuff was even worse. L

I would guess that they’re probably taking home about the same at the end of the day, I would be floored if the dodgers have a massive increase in expenses to the brewers outside of payroll, but would love to see what the books look like to know for sure.

They both have about 200M in cashflow post payroll & tax. I would guess that number is probably about what covers Operating expenses for a top of market front office?
