Starting a 3rd party requires not only patience, but a strict adherence of election law to even get people on the ballot, let alone win seats. If he is serious about this (and he has decent advisors), he would start with running in CA due to their low ballot access threshold. 2/3

In 2023, I was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. I had to re-learn how to type and found it much harder to research topics. Due to this, we switched to an every-two-weeks schedule. This worked for a while, but recently, even this has been too hard to maintain. 2/4
