The Georgia Client Assistance Program helps people with disabilities who're seeking or receiving vocational rehabilitation services by providing information about the federal Rehabilitation Act.
🏡 Did you know? GVRA may help fund essential residence modifications for individuals with severe physical disabilities when needed to achieve their employment goal. Examples include:
• Widening select doors
• Adding ramps & landing pads
• Installing grab bars
• Providing environmental controls

Glasses or contact lenses may be authorized by GVRA when they are vocationally necessary to support your employment goal.

📘 Did you know? GVRA can authorize payment for required exams that help an individual qualify for entrance into training or to practice their agreed-upon employment goal. Each specific exam can only be authorized once.

Myth: Clients of GVRA cannot have inaccurate or misleading information removed from their case file. Fact: Per GVRA’s CSPM (Policy 8.1.5, Cite 1.5): "All individuals shall be informed of their right to request removal or amendment of misleading or inaccurate information from their case file."
