(3/3) Halloweens and have also read some of them to my pupils in school. I wonder if we'll ever know what lies behind them. Probably not, but the fun is in the mystery. Take care and keep up the good work!

(2.) but loads more came out than I had expected: from a variety of people, completely unconnected and diverse stories... I consider myself a natural sceptic, but some things don't have a satisfactory scientific or logical explanation (but perhaps will have one day). I still pull them out most (...)

You could talk the hind legs off a donkey. Except your donkeys are probably born without hind legs what with all the chemicals you put in their chips.

At least Wales are finally bouncing back after being clinically sad (boo hoo) for two 6 Nations campaigns.

Sorry, I had some spinal cord in a baguette for lunch yesterday.

To be fair we'd a full 15, no 20, on the pitch to hold SA to 24 points.

Yeah I guess it must be. Though they do tend to find a guilty party. With however many yellows already awarded by that point maybe he wanted an out.
November 22, 2025 at 7:51 PM
Sorry Ed, what's an out half exactly? Is that like half an orange left in the garden or something? Doesn't seem to make any sense.

You have to give a YC when a PT is awarded don't you?!

For me it's Partridge or The Office (UK obvs), mostly. The odd Day Today or Peep Show quote too.

I hope your partner also quotes Partridge, whenever appropriate, in a variety of daily situations!

I loved it, especially the first 2 episodes. They're right up there alongside the best all-time Partridge episodes. For my generation (I'm 46) we've grown up with him since we were teens, yet he keeps adapting with the times albeit the character with his flaws and insecurities is still the same.

Go to Stonehenge, yeah. Well worth it. BitI once made a 50-mile detour to one of Ireland's "top 5 stone circles". Never again. It was shit.
