#One of the many sheep of the Faroe Islands. During the summer, the sheep forage freely in the landscape. Meeting one at the turn of a hike trail is a common experience.

Even in the winter, there is life outdoors. The snow around my house bears the tracks of animals going about the business of survival. Here, a small rodent, most likely a mouse or vole (see the tail imprint).

"Daily Chickadee"
Black-capped Chickadees are regulars at my bird feeder, especially when winter arrives early. All day long, it is a carousel of Chickadees, getting a quick fill of sunflower seeds and delicately eating them on nearby branches.
