I saw today that Sandfall is apparently claiming their budget was 10 million, which is a pittance by modern AAA standards, but at the same time so much more than the "one or two people in a garage" kind of game that the term indie typically elicits. it's tough

just know that season 1 is a little shonky. it's still good and worth watching, but due to behind the scenes issues, it has a couple funky things about it.

And also they make "lol anime pervert" jokes a couple of times, which i hate. but they drop that element from that character from s2 onwards

i like it a lot its fun :)

But the show(s) are really good too and dont have all the gacha baggage if you would rather

and also communicating. communication good. he shoulda done that. in our nice lovely world where tragedies dont happen

it's pretty wild to think about how if the guy had literally cooled it even just a little in regards to work/augmentations he probably woulda been fine
