I picked up a cheap pair of monitors on eBay without stands or brackets, so I fashioned a pair of pushchair wheels into stands, as a new set would have cost £110. I also converted an old Panasonic AV bass unit into a sub-bass, since a Genelec sub-bass costs over £400. Works a treat 👌

This is Sammy but we just call him Big Cat. We adopted him a year ago and he’s around 11 years old and is very chilled.

I'm going to start making music and don’t want to use a DAW. After a bit of research, I think I’ve settled on the Elektron Digitakt 1 rather than the Roland TR8S. This will get me started with beats and sampling, and I can add more desktop synths later. I think I've I made the right decision.
