Much of the protests so far have been important cheerleading exercises. Those will not drive change but grow solidarity. Real change will only happen by organized peaceful civil disobedience at a mass scale. If 2% of the working population started taking rotating sick-outs things would change quick.

Shooting any federal officer even by mistake is a capital federal crime. State Stand Your Ground laws will not protect you.

That's the thing though - Maduro won't sell the licenses to the Americans. And if this would come to market it would destroy Big Oils profits.
