Tech permitting, the ideal design for precision hypersonics here would be a twin-rocket-powered waverider w.wiki/CNVi optimized for a low drag coefficient; the missile's body would have a "flat shovel" or "shōgi piece" shape akin to design OPT 1 in is.gd/q5ujfI, shown below. 7/26

Imagine that you're an ant crawling on a 3D jungle gym, like the one pictured at is.gd/XU56Rl. Over short distances, you can really only move forward and back (one space dimension) along the segment you're on. On larger scales, maybe you can find a crossbeam to turn sideways (2D space). 14/24
