I'm the first to say he 100% did the job he was hired to do. The failing is actually on the owners for allowing sentimentality to creep in this summer

I think safety first when you have the best squad in the division is fine but when you don't you absolutely need a better relationship with risk/reward to make the difference

True, in much the same way as a different tactician to Farke might have a way of getting a tune from this squad without reliance on individual moments of brilliance. But even players like Forshaw recognised that technically they saw the game differently under Bielsa not just about fitness

I don't think for one second that the squad is good enough but neither was the squad that finished 9th under Bielsa on paper. A good coach can change games as well as individual brilliance from players. We just don't see that with Farke at this level. He's too shaped by risk
