dungeon meshi spoilers for volume 12 illustration of Marcille Donato in her dungeon lord form, being manipulated by the winged lion demon. his enormous wings take up most of the background. around them are 4 panels showing scenes that have to do with Marcille's fear of grief: 6 "Pipi" birds representing her party members sitting on a tree branch, the tree lair the winged demon created for her, her sitting in front of her father's grave with the tree in the background, and the twisting monster from her nightmare.

idk, but feel like i've definitely seen a photo or video of this bird somewhere, i just cant figure out what it's called. i think it looked kinda like a harpy eagle, but all black and again, rectangular shapes. i feel like maybe i saw it in a nature documentary?

got a little distracted while trying to figure out a face for a commission and ended up drawing a completely different cat
