Can confirm. When i was prideful back in the 1990s, i was unable to admit i didn’t know how to hand wash my clothes, so i used a machine that did it for me and saved me the time and effort. I’m still embarrassed to this day.

You’re on to something. I liken it to once in college when I was so unwilling to admit i couldn’t compute 2738832/368 in my head, that i decided to use a calculator. If I’d just been able to admit it, it would have been different somehow, I’m not sure how though.

I mean, the people she works for or that she mentions are not interested in parsing these statements for her true intent, they WILL read it the worst way. Jimmy kemmel was fired right? Colbert? For much less. So it’s not about who’s morally right, it’s about being tactical and strategic.

The white libs in the comments are performing “allyship” instead of being honest. They explicitly state that it’s the “white men” comments. The hard truth cos someone has to say it, is that this type of post became normalized in the last 5 years, and we’re now in a climate where it no longer flies.
