My behemoth out trash talking the deer this morning.

And now I'm trying to figure out funeral arrangements. I've spent the last 30 years of my life helping to fight cancer and now it's taken my wife of 41 years. I really fucking hate cancer.

She's told she has a very aggressive acute meyeloid leukemia and to expect to be in the hospital for at least a month. Chemo, bone marrow replacement, hair loss, pain, nausea just to force it into remission. Not cured, remission. And literally all you can come up with is WTF!? 2/2

Life has a way of humbling us. One day you're living it. Happy, secure in the knowledge that you're going to be together with your best friend/spouse till the day you both pass. Then BAM, your wife goes to see a doc about a cough and then next thing you know, 1/2

Man it looks like being a Zamboni driver would be the ultimate retirement job. A little Fast & furious action out there chasing the ring girls around on the ice, giving kids free rides. What more could a cranky old coot ask for? 😂

I turn 61 in a couple of days. Times I feel every day of that 61 years. Other times I'm like, "wait just a damn minute, I'm how old!?"

Whelp, I've been on this site for just a few days and while it does need to mature a bit more I can say I am very happy with it. At the very least because my TL is not being bombarded with ads.
